We soon came to realise that expecting very young children to learn the same syllabus as adults was unfair to say the least. We therefore split the syllabus into smaller chunks to enable the children learn at a better pace. Snapping Turtles are aged 5-9 years, but some children advance more quickly than others so each child is assessed as they train and sometimes need to be moved into the second class in order to better achieve their full potential. We offer free lessons to enable the child and parent/guardian to decide if the class is right for them. The theory is also in smaller chunks as this can be a particular stumbling block for the younger students.
